Despite public concern over a lack of visible activity, officials confirm that renovations at Krug Park are actively underway with crucial, unseen infrastructure work. The project has experienced some delays due to necessary electrical upgrades and the discovery of a federally protected, endangered bat species that requires careful management. While holiday light preparations are expected to begin in October, officials ask for the community’s patience as the full renovation project is not scheduled for completion until 2027.
